Eligibility Criteria

Selection Process

GATE 2025 Registration: The registration-cum-application process for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2025) will begin tomorrow, August 28. Eligible candidates who want to take the examination can submit their forms at gate2025.iitr.ac.in after the window is opened.

As per the schedule of GATE 2024-related activities, the application window will be closed on September 26. However, candidates will have the option to apply for the test beyond this deadline – up to October 7 – if they pay a late fee.

The application process for the GATE 2025 was previously scheduled to begin on August 24 but it was later postponed. This postponement of the application window will not have any impact on the other dates, including the examination schedule.

The test will be conducted on February 1, 2, 15 and 16, 2025, and in two shifts on all exam days.

A candidate can take up to two papers of GATE 2025.

Open the GATE 2025 registration link available on the home page.

Provide the requested information and submitit. Yout login details will be generated.

Now, login to your account and proceed to fill the application form.

Once done, submit the form.

Download and save a copy of the confirmation page for further needs.

The application fee of GATE 2025 is 900 for female, SC, ST and PwD category candidates if they apply during the regular period. During the extended period, the application fee for these candidates is 1,400.

For all other candidates, the application fee during the regular period is 1,800, and it is 2,300 during the extended period.

UP Police Constable Admit Card 2024: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released admit cards for the Constable recruitment examination scheduled for August 30. Candidates whose exams are scheduled for that day can download their hall tickets from the official website, uppbpb.gov.in. The direct link and other details are given below.

Admit cards for the August 31 examination will be released three days before the exam date – August 27 (most likely at 12 am).

The Constable recruitment examination in Uttar Pradesh started on August 23. On the first day, 79.11 per cent of candidates who downloaded their admit cards appeared for the test in two shifts. A total of 4,09,720 candidates of the first shift downloaded their admit cards and 3,21,265 appeared. For the second shift, 4,09,880 candidates downloaded their admit cards and 3,27,167 appeared.

On April 24, 6,57,443 of the 8,24,573 candidates (both shifts) who downloaded their admit cards appeared for the test.

In total, 48,17,441 candidates had applied to appear in the written examination for 60,244 posts of UP Police constables.

The official notification when released can be checked by candidates on the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in.

The reason for postponement of the release of the notification is cited as administrative reasons.

The official notice reads, “As per the tentative calendar of the Examinations for the year 2024-2025, Notice of Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination, 2025 for inviting Online Applications from the aspiring candidates was scheduled to be published on the website of the Commission on 27.08.2024. 2. However, due to administrative reasons, Notice of the said Exam will now be issued on 05.09.2024.”

The Sr. Director of Ticket Operations and Data Strategy provides oversight of the ticket operations, and with direct oversight of football ticket operations. They will supervise events staff and act with autonomy when making decisions about planning and implementing events and logistics.

The Athletics Ticket Office strategies reflect a concerted effort to provide excellent customer service, maximize ticket sales revenue, and increase attendance to sports or athletics related events to support the Department of Athletics and its mission.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage the day-to-day ticket operations functions of the ticket office including renewals, invoicing, seat relocations, digital ticketing management, and post-season processing.
  • Conceptualize, implement, assess, and continually improve event management policies and procedures to enhance participants’ experiences.
  • Advise on and resolve sensitive issues and requests, consulting leaders to resolve issues with staff or visitors.
  • Lead and develop strategies in partnership with data analytics partner Affinaquest and ticket sales partner Revel to maximize revenue opportunities from a ticket sales and service perspective.
  • Direct oversight of Football and assists with ticket operations for all other ticketed sports.
  • Hire, train, supervise, and develop full-time ticket operations managers.
  • Oversee and supervise ticket sales and customer service issues at ticket office windows and on site at specified athletic events. Balances and reconciles ticket sales made at on site at events.
  • Responsible for event creation, presentation and maintenance, pre-event sales, game-day sales preparation, ticket operations at events and post-event reconciliation.
  • Assist in the ticket sales and season ticket renewal strategy for ticketed sports.
  • Coordinate with various internal units including the Virginia Athletic Foundation, Sports Promotions, Event Operations, Virginia Sports Properties, Business Office, and team personnel.
  • Ensures the fulfillment of contractual agreements for game tickets and the approval and distribution of complimentary tickets.
  • Ensures compliance with NCAA, ACC, and University rules and regulations governing ticket accounting, admissions, and benefits.
  • Performs other duties as necessary to build support for and add value to the objectives and goals of the unit, Department of Athletics, and University.
  • Develop, implement, and manage all web-based ticket sales and strategies.

  • Ability to work independently and prioritize work driven by the Athletic Department schedule of events and the needs of the Athletics Ticket Office.
