The Talent Acquisition Administrator at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) plays a vital role in
supporting the Talent Acquisition team in their efforts to attract and hire top talent for the university. This position is responsible for
handling administrative tasks throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for both candidates and hiring
managers. This position also communicates internally and externally regarding human resource practices and personnel actions. The Talent
Acquisition Administrator serves as a key point of contact for applicants, Human Resources Liaisons, and plays a primary and integral role
in maintaining transactional systems but will also assist with recruitment and compensation tasks.
This is a BENFITS
ELIGIBLE temporary position that is funded for up to 12 months.
There is potential to extend further contingent on
funding.

Job Duties:
- Assist with posting job openings on internal and external job boards and university career
portals. - Screen candidate applications and resumes, ensuring they meet the minimum qualifications for open positions.
- May
support the onboarding process for new hires, collecting necessary documentation and facilitating orientation activities. - Maintain
accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other recruitment tools. - Assist with
recruitment-related data entry and reporting, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. - Collaborate with HR partners and other team
members to ensure a seamless recruitment experience for all stakeholders. - Participate in employer branding initiatives and
recruitment events to promote UCCS as an employer of choice. - Stay informed about relevant HR policies and procedures to ensure
compliance with recruitment and compensation guidelines. - Fosters a collaborative relationship with hiring departments.
- Perform job analyses of university staff positions or job codes in adherence to professional standards.
- Assists departments in
determining what type of announcement information might be the most effective; may assist in quality review of job postings. - Determines appropriate classification of positions by comparing them with positions as described in various compensation survey
sources. - May aid the Compensation Analyst in advising supervisors on compensation strategies and adjustments and ensures
authorizations for actions are obtained.

Work Location: Hybrid (50%

This position has been determined to be exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act
(FLSA).
What We Offer:
Salary Range: Generally starting at $51,500 – $57,000 per
year
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited
to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire:
- High
school diploma or equivalent. - At least 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a human resources or talent acquisition
setting.(Associates and/or Bachelor’s Degree will be substituted & considered for years of experience.) - Proficient in using
computer software and applications, including Microsoft Office Suite. - Strong organizational and time management skills with the
ability to prioritize tasks effectively. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact professionally with
candidates and team members. - Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in administrative tasks.
Preferred
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in
talent acquisition or recruitment support in a higher education or similar setting. - Familiarity with applicant tracking systems
(ATS) and other recruitment software. - Knowledge of HR policies and best practices related to recruitment and hiring.
- Experience with PeopleSoft or other Human Resources data management systems.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in an office environment, utilizing a computer and other standard office equipment.
Capacity to sit or stand
for extended periods during administrative tasks.
Flexibility to attend off-site recruitment events, as necessary
