DESCRIPTION

Technical leader with a high degree of knowledge in the overall field and recognized
expertise in problem-solving. Assists leadership team with analysis of unique issues / problems without precedent and / or structure. May
assist in managing programs that include formulating strategies and administering policies, processes, and resources. Functions with a high
degree of autonomy and leads the team in the supervisor’s absence. Functions as a lead in cases of high complexity. Supports Professional
staff in ordering supplies, tracking inventory records, storing inventory, and distributing supplies. Liaison for supply chain management,
providing guidance to all levels of employees on ways to improve utilization of supplies. Regularly serves on committees and workgroups.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have valid California Driver’s License and acceptable driving
    record.
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of
    storekeeping best practices.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of receiving, requisitioning etc.
  • Experience using an
    MMIS.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic calculations.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability
    to effectively communicate with vendors and customers.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five (5) years of
    relevant experience.
  • Two (2) years minimum experience in a hospital storehouse.
  • Previous experience working with Nursing
    leadership to create or establish par carts.
  • Supervisory experience or experience making supervisory level decisions in the absence
    of leadership.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business
    needs.
  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
  • Must be available to work weekends,
    variable days and hours, holidays, and occasional overtime.
  • Ability to bend, squat, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
  • May be required to work at multiple sites (Hillcrest and La Jolla hospitals and CALM, KOP, and Rancho Bernardo
    locations).

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $57,149 – $76,901 (will be prorated if the appointment
percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $27.37 – $36.83

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a
role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for
this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal
equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).

If employed by the University of California, you will be
