Job Description

Please note: This position is located at our Minneapolis location and it is not remote eligible. Typical hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome visitors and manage the overall operations of the HR front office.
  • Monitor and respond to general HR office voicemail and email inquiries.
  • Serve as first-point of contact to effectively problem-solve and respond to a variety of HR-related question and refer urgent and/or more complex issues to the appropriate HR partner or specialist.
  • Assist with administrative support in areas of recruitment and onboarding, benefits and payroll administration, training, compliance and performance management, and other HR-related administrative tasks.
  • Update and manage a variety of databases and systems, from simple to highly complex, requiring a high level of problem-solving and accuracy.
  • Maintain and update the HR website.
  • Assist with developing and distributing department communications.
  • Manage confidential filing and archiving system to ensure legal and policy compliance.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of relevant administrative experience required. Prior human resources administrative support experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment with multiple competing priorities.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Word/Excel, Google Docs/Sheets proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong commitment to customer service required.
  • Ability to effectively navigate in HR databases and systems.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse work environment.
  • Ability to be attentive to details, be accurate, be precise.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment; and work independently.
  • Ability to reason/analyze; maintain confidentiality; and understanding.
  • Ability to show initiative; organize workflow; manage tasks and projects.
  • Ability to handle frequent interruptions and demonstrate patience.
