EXPERIENCE AND OTHER QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree or specialized training required. Additional
education will be recognized. Twelve (12) years related experience preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word processing and
spreadsheet software (Excel). Ability to operate a personal computer and other common office equipment. Must have supervisory skills and be
able to multi-task. Proven ability to work with a diverse population of people. Familiar with community college requirements and reporting
requirements for local, regional, state and federal authorities. Must be able to exercise discretion and good judgment as it pertains to
confidential information and any other issues.
DESCRIPTION OF JOB DUTIES: Holds responsibility for
administrative planning, implementing, and supervising all college human resource services, including payroll. Serve as Affirmative Action
and EEOC Officer; district liaison and resource regarding matters of Employee Handbook policy and procedure; and claims coordinator for SWCD
and Howard College workers’ compensation programs. Administer group insurance and retirement programs. Act as ADA Coordinator for
employees. Prepare reports required by the state and other external agencies.
