Employment Type: Part-time (call-in hours), Non-exempt (hourly), Non-benefits Eligible
JOB SUMMARY: The primary purpose of this position is to provide friendly and efficient service to all customers while operating the cash register or assisting with text distribution/collection during each term.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs cash register procedures and provides customer service in a manner that ensures accurate, efficient service.
- Follows all text distribution/collection policies and procedures established to ensure that consistency and accuracy are maintained.
- Responds to customer requests for assistance and/or information to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for an accurate cash register operation.
- Scan, sort, stack, and box books at the end of the term to prepare for shipment.
- Assists other store personnel when time permits to help check in other store inventory.
- All other duties as assigned.
Prerequisites
MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cash register experience, preferred
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Should be able to stand all day
