POSITION SUMMARY:

Duquesne
University is accepting applications for an Assistant Director of Ticket Sales & Operations. The primary responsibilities for this position
include managing ticket sales and operations for assigned sports, meeting and exceeding assigned sales and revenue goals, and assisting in
the day-to-day management of the ticket office.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages ticket sales and
operations for assigned sports including building events in ticket system, outbound sales efforts of ticket packages, and management of
ticket office on game days

Assists in the supervision of daily operation of ticket office including hiring and training game day
ticket sellers

Contributes to the development and execution of a ticketing sales plan for all ticketed sports

Makes outbound
sales calls and sets meetings with prospective clients to sell season, mini plan, group, and single tickets

Attends networking
events to develop and gain new leads for ticket packages

Develops new leads through database management and prospecting

Assists with phone inquiries and provides excellent customer service to fans as well as other departments within the campus
community

Coordinates with Compliance office regarding NCAA rules and policies including reporting requirements

Coordinates
with the business office for single game and season-long reconciliation reports

Collaborates with marketing and development
office

Assists with the ticket sales of all A-10 and NCAA events hosted by the department

Occasional travel for major games,
tournaments, and postseason

Completes other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum
qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in sport management, sales, business, marketing or similar
program required

Minimum 1 year of ticket operations/sales experience

Demonstrated success in growing ticket revenues and
building meaningful relationships with clients

Experience with Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and others

Ability to report financial records accurately

Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines

Demonstrated
ability to work as a member of a team, as well as the capability of completing projects individually

Must provide excellent customer
service skillset and maintain positive attitude

Must be able to maintain confidentiality and use upmost discretion when privy to
sensitive information

Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations

Must be able to work non-traditional hours including nights
and weekends

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree from an accredited institution

Knowledge of
Paciolan or other computerized ticketing system, building seasons and events

equivalent combination of experience and training, which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required to perform the essential job
functions. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:
