energetic environment? South Dakota State University’s (SDSU) Athletics is hiring! We currently have an opening for an Assistant
Athletic Director – Premium Sales. Play a crucial role in driving revenue generation and reaching sales goals while developing new leads for
our premium stadium seating. We’re looking for an individual who is motivated and results-driven to join our team. This position is
located in Brookings, South Dakota and is a 12 month, full-time, benefit-eligible position.

Behind the scenes of our 19
competing NCAA Division I sports is a team of dedicated professionals who are striving to create the electrifying environment that is
Jackrabbit Athletics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Driving revenue and sales goals, along with new lead generation in the
    premium seating areas of Suites, Loge Box, and Club Seating associated the Jackrabbit Athletics venues. Engaging and converting
    existing SDSU Athletic donors and ticket holders, while also identifying new prospects interested in purchasing premium
    seating.
  • Work, day-to-day with the Jackrabbit Club Office and Jackrabbit Athletic Ticket Office on donation and revenue goals,
    along with backend ticket system and business reconciliation.
  • Manage and organize the premium seating contracts plus implement
    strategies to improve customer and donor relations.

SALARY RANGE:

Contingent upon education and
experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree by start date;
  • At least one year of knowledge and/or experience with ticket sales and operations;
  • General knowledge of and understanding with sales and marketing concepts;
  • Experience with donor
    relations/cultivation/fundraising;
  • Portray excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal);
  • Excellent
    customer service skills;
  • Ability to be a self starter and work independently; and
  • Ability to work various hours including
    nights and weekends.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Knowledge of collegiate athletics;
  • Knowledge of premium sales;
  • Division I athletic experience; and
  • Understanding of fundraising concepts and practices in
    an athletic setting.
