NERIST NEE 2024: The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) has initiated the online application process for NERIST Entrance Exam (NEE) 2024 today, i.e January 8, 2024.
Eligible candidates, in order to participate in the admission process, need to register themselves for the entrance exam – NEE 2024, on the official portal at nerist.ac.in.
Beginning today, candidates will get time till March 26 to register for the NEE exams. After which application window will be closed, for all the three – NEE-1, NEE-2, NEE-3 exams.
Admission to certificate courses is facilitated through NEE 1, while NEE 2 is designed for entry into BTech and BSc (Hons) in Forestry. Additionally, NEE 3 is specifically conducted for BTech LE admissions.
The schedule for NEE 2 and NEE 3 is set for April 20, with NEE 1 following on April 21, 2024. Candidates who have registered can access their NEE 2024 admit cards starting from April 6, 2024.
Eligibility requirements for NERIST NEE 2024
Eligibility criteria for NEE 2024 include age limits and academic qualifications. Maximum age limits, as of July 31, 2024, are 23 years for general category (GE) applicants, 26 years for OBC and female candidates, and 28 years for ST/SC/PD candidates. Academic qualifications vary: for NEE-II (PCM), candidates must have passed/appeared in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics; for NEE-II (PCB), the requirement is Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at the 10+2 level. Meeting these criteria is crucial for those intending to apply for NEE 2024.
Application fee
The NERIST NEE 2024 application fee structure is as follows:
  • INR 1500 for General/OBC/EWS candidates
  • INR 1000 for ST/SC/PH candidates
