Taylor Swift had a close call during a recent performance on the “Eras Tour” in Tokyo. On Friday, Feb. 9, at the Tokyo Dome, Swift almost took a tumble off a stage prop as she wrapped up her rendition of “The 1.”

As she transitioned into the “Folklore” segment of the show, Swift lay down on the grassy roof of a cabin to sing the album’s opening track. Videos circulating on social media captured the moment when Swift walked down the roof and stumbled, nearly falling.

Thankfully, she managed to catch herself and quickly regain her balance before continuing her descent to the stage to perform the next song, “Betty.”

Addressing the incident directly with the audience, Swift humorously remarked, “I almost fell off the ‘Folklore’ cabin, but I didn’t, and that’s the lesson.” She went on to express relief, saying, “My life flashed before my eyes,” but reassured fans that she was unharmed. “Yeah, no, I’m good. It’s all good. Everything’s fine. Everything’s great. I’m just so happy that I didn’t fall off the ‘Folklore’ cabin.”
